We will hold a seminar for international residents and international students on Friday， November 28th.
This seminar will introduce Japanese labor laws and workplace communication in easy-to-understand Japanese!

* Autumn Special Exhibition 2025 ”Legacy: Objects Connecting the Yayoi and Kofun Periods” at the Museum of Yayoi Culture
===============================================================
This exhibition focuses on “Denseihin” (transmitted artifacts)， such as Dotaku (bronze bells) and Dokyo (bronze mirrors)， whose production dates and burial dates differ greatly.
We examine new interpretations and detailed analytical results to approach one of the greatest mysteries in the history of ancient state formation.

Exhibition Period: Until Sunday， December 7， 2025
*Closure: Mondays (If a national holiday falls on Monday， it is closed on Tuesday.)
- Time: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm (Last Entry Time: 4:30 pm)
- Entry Fee: General: 430 yen， College/High-School Students and 65 and over: 330 yen
*Free for junior high school students or younger， and for those with disabilities and their one helper.

* Need a new passport? Apply early!
=================================================================
Starting from applications submitted on March 24， the current type of passport was replaced by the “2025-type passport” to protect against counterfeiting and alteration.
The National Printing Bureau produces passports centrally and delivers them to each prefecture.
Consequently， the days required from application to issuance are extended to 10 business days (previously 6 business days) at the Osaka Prefectural Passport Center and 14 business days (previously 10 business days) at city and town offices in the prefecture.

Testing for infectious diseases including HIV and syphilis is conducted on the first Sunday (Second Sunday in January) of each month. Interpretation services for Chinese and Vietnamese are available.

* “Food Allergy Communication Sheet” in Multiple Languages

Osaka Prefecture has created a “Food Allergy Communication Sheet” in multiple languages with pictograms in order to prevent food allergy accidents among foreigners who eat at restaurants.
The languages are English， Simplified Chinese， Traditional Chinese， Korean， Thai， Vietnamese， Indonesian， Portuguese， French， Spanish， and Japanese.
Please make good use of the sheet at restaurants.
The sheet is available at the Living Environment Inspection Department at public health centers under the jurisdiction of Osaka Prefecture and at public health centers in Osaka City.
